As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant within Experis Specialist Markets, you’ll be part of a busy, exciting and sociable office of salespeople providing top, trusted IT staffing solutions across Scotland:

As a consultant, you’ll:

-Make proactive, researched and intellectual outbound calls to secure clients and sell your services as a specialist recruiter.
-Conduct and organise face-to-face meetings with clients as an ambassador for your brand and your own business within ours
-Chart your successes, your leads and all relevant data (organisation is a skill – if you kept all your coursework in separate folders for separate modules then you’ll be good at this bit)
-Interview and qualify candidates pulled from a number of lucrative sources to place business with your own clients and develop your own reputation within the industry – the sky is truly the limit this one. You might have to get creative in order to find those tricky candidates. We encourage ‘professional’ use of social media during work i.e LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal Trainee Recruitment Consultant will have –
-Degree in any principal (relevant business studies are preferred but you won’t be penalised for having studied Theology, English Lit or similar)
-We’d like some proven sales experience; B2B, telesales. Experience in a sales / office environment, but as long as you can prove it’s for you, you will be considered
-At least 6 months in current employ and a good track record of commitment – or similar extracurricular activities which demand the same level of commitment
-Sporting or competitive streak is great – we like this. It suggests a go-getter. We want the kind of person who debates with housemates over who gets the first shower in the morning!
-Excellent telephone manner and presence – anyone can say they have this but being engaging and comfortable talking to people is usually a natural thing
