Trainee / Graduate Recruitment Consultant – Fortune 500

As a graduate – all that partying, travelling and studying now out of your system (Thailand 2015 is probably a pretty hazy memory by now) – you want to know YOU are being invested in. Actual studies show that today’s grads aren’t content with hitting up the next stopgap, the next job.

Did you know that around 60% of recent graduates think growth opportunities are the most attractive job perk? And that 46% of recent graduates left their last job due to lack of career growth?

I would suggest, if that’s not what you’re looking for, and you’re simply happy getting started on ‘your next job,’ I would stop reading now.

However, if you want a long-term career that will earn you physical, notable success and financial luxury rather than financial stability, then I urge you to read on:

You’re a GRAD, you’ve worked hard, you want:

-To earn enough not to ever live off spaghetti hoops and cereal ever again
-A portal, a gateway to an exciting career with bundles of potential
-The right to be treated as a credible business individual
-The chance to make money and mould yourself into a future leader/ visionary
-Fun, excitement. Opportunity to travel to unbelievable places and socialise outside of work

Experis is the technical arm of ManpowerGroup. We are proud to be the largest IT Recruitment Specialist in Europe (you may take a Google Search break here).

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant within Experis Specialist Markets, you’ll be part of a busy, exciting and sociable office of salespeople providing top, trusted IT staffing solutions across Scotland:

As a consultant, you’ll:

-Make proactive, researched and intellectual outbound calls to secure clients and sell your services as a specialist recruiter.
-Conduct and organise face-to-face meetings with clients as an ambassador for your brand and your own business within ours
-Chart your successes, your leads and all relevant data (organisation is a skill – if you kept all your coursework in separate folders for separate modules then you’ll be good at this bit)
-Interview and qualify candidates pulled from a number of lucrative sources to place business with your own clients and develop your own reputation within the industry – the sky is truly the limit this one. You might have to get creative in order to find those tricky candidates. We encourage ‘professional’ use of social media during work i.e LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook.

“WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?”

You’ll benefit from:
-Receiving the physical and mental tools as well as the mentorship you need to become a flourishing recruiter, earning in excess of £35,000 in your first year with our outstanding commission scheme.
-Incredible incentives and once-in-a-lifetime trips to exquisite places for top achievers, in case that gap year wasn’t enough to whet your appetite (Fabulous Las Vegas, Sun-drenched Miami, exotic Sri Lanka and many, many more!) as well as regular incentives which are just plain fun – takeaway pizza day at the office, regular team nights out, charity fun days and all-paid-for-by-Experis star-studded annual events.
-A target-driven and accepting culture in an office shared with equally ambitious salespeople with no micromanagement but a very diplomatic and encouraging mentor who has had unparalleled success in the industry.
-Meritocratic career ladder – we promote on work ethic and success, not just longevity of service! Want to be a manager within three years? We have consultants who have been there done that. Some of our sales managers (and Top Earners) started exactly where you are now just three or four years ago, in halls or at home, sitting to a computer clicking that ‘apply’ button.

Why Experis?

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal Trainee Recruitment Consultant will have –
-Degree in any principal (relevant business studies are preferred but you won’t be penalised for having studied Theology, English Lit or similar)
-We’d like some proven sales experience; B2B, telesales. Experience in a sales / office environment, but as long as you can prove it’s for you, you will be considered
-At least 6 months in current employ and a good track record of commitment – or similar extracurricular activities which demand the same level of commitment
-Sporting or competitive streak is great – we like this. It suggests a go-getter. We want the kind of person who debates with housemates over who gets the first shower in the morning!
-Excellent telephone manner and presence – anyone can say they have this but being engaging and comfortable talking to people is usually a natural thing

If it sounds like you – tell us why. Joining us as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant in Edinburgh couldn’t have an easier first step and could well be your perfect career move – just click ‘apply’ or contact Janey Holmes on the Talent Team direct.
