Night Shift Manager

Reports To: Hub Manager

Job Purpose: To support the Manpower delivery teams primarily, but not limited to, in the below area:-

  • Parcelforce Coventry Hubs

Ensuring Client SLA's are achieved and agreed gross profit (GP) targets by developing business within the contract. Support the Delivery Teams to effectively manage Manpower employee HR requirements and ensure the effective fulfilment of all orders received.

Key Performance Measures:

  1. Achievement of agreed GP target and growth of contract
  2. Strength of client relationships
  3. Team activity targets including, number of client service and sales visits made, achievement of set client Service Level Agreements (SLA's).

Superior: Job holder to meet regularly with RMG shift managers to review progress against objectives and future requirements.

Other Departments: Working with other internal departments to deliver against objectives. Developing relations with Payroll, IT, Central Sales, CORE North, Marketing, Training and Human Resources.

Base: This role will require your main base to be Coventry Hub Typical core working hours being 37.5 hours between the hours of 16:00 - 00:00

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Accountability for the overall achievement of the SLA's and smooth running of the contract whilst developing strong relationships with key client contacts.
  • Working with the Contracts Team to plan weekly activities to ensure achievement of all SLA's.
  • Ensure the client is updated on changes in the business or the wider environment, which will affect the management of their account.
  • Working with the Contracts Team to ensure agreed SLAs are achieved, providing regular action plans and reward and recognition initiatives.
  • Supporting the Contracts Team to manage local recruitment campaigns and ensure the supply of suitable candidates to fill outstanding vacancies.
  • Deal with Manpower employee HR requirements effectively, including complaints and escalate where necessary. Managing HR processes, including dismissals, appeals and grievances.
  • Manage ways in which Manpower can achieve a high level of integration with the customer.
  • Carry out regular reviews with key client contact to gain feedback on the service they are receiving from Manpower in line with the company's quality standards and taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Ensure all activity complies with company policies, procedures, legislative and regulatory requirements, including Health and Safety Regulations and employment legislation.
  • Other ad-hoc duties and project work as required.
