Recruitment… It's sales, with a difference - and that's you. Because this is no generic product or scripted approach; you're selling people - yourself, your candidates, and your clients. You're selling an offering - future value to a business, and a life-changing career move to a professional.

If you combine entrepreneurial spirit with resilience and tenacity, you'll fit right in at Manpower. This job is all about tapping into passive markets, probing for information, and bouncing back from setbacks.

You have that motivation for money, no doubt, but a bonus in recruitment is more than just the pound signs; it's the pride in helping people to better themselves, and the lasting impact on careers and business fortunes.

Are We a Match…?

If you offer an existing track record in recruitment, great, but we'll also be interested in full lifecycle experience in any sales capacity. Furthermore, we've created successful recruiters from professionals who've previously performed hands-on industry roles themselves.

If you're happy being a robotic resourcer, look away now. We're seeking hunters, inquisitors, and communicators. Unphased by a 'cold desk', your specialism will be warming up cold calls by digging out good leads and asking the right questions of the right people.

We're looking for quantifiable results in a communication-heavy environment, evidence of longevity as an employee, and that flair for not just talking to people - but extracting information and building rapport.

Your Future at Manpower…

You might be aware of Manpower's recruitment pedigree in the blue-collar and temp markets - but…, we've had huge post-pandemic success in the UK perm space and there's an ongoing drive in the engineering and technical sectors.

And that's where you'll come in. We are making waves with plans for sector specialisation, but you can treat your desk as your own business. If you can justify, plan, and deliver on approaches in a new market, we'll be right behind you.

Here, it's not three months of token training from a fellow consultant before a sink-or-swim judgment day. It's down to you to get to work and succeed, of course, but there are rich resources for professional growth - inclusive of external sales training and CMI and ILM qualifications.

From Resourcer to Regional Manager, or Team Leader to Internal Talent, employee career paths within Manpower are broad and packed with opportunity. We believe in an open and ethical environment. Bonus structures are clear and transparent. Everyone is treated the same and the same opportunities are available to all.

Benefits and Perks…

  • A clear bonus structure applicable to all
  • 22 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
  • The ability to buy up to five extra days' holiday
  • Matched pension contributions, up to 6%
  • Hybrid working options - a mixture of homeworking and office-based
  • Access to company-paid external training courses and qualifications
  • Huge flexibility for career progression - across the Manpower group
