Job Purpose

As a Market Intel Researcher to support our client -A British Multinational automotive company account with high quality market intelligence to support decision making through business advisory. To influence and shape the talent strategy and Sourcing hiring through market intelligence.

To be a subject matter expert on external business tools relating to market data and ensure that our suite of tools is always appropriate and relevant to business requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a suite of tools which gives access to high quality market information
  • Produce high quality market insights that are data driven
  • Provide consistent salary benchmark data for use by the delivery & business development areas
  • Provide comprehensive & accurate competitor profiles and develop an overall market map
  • Research all businesses within the vertical and produce top-down organisational charts and potential strategic recruitment target lists
  • Support the Resource function in driving work force planning activities to minimise time to hire
  • Work with marketing to create in-depth candidate sourcing strategies to support across various mediums, e.g., LinkedIn, Job boards and Databases
  • When required represent the account at external networking events
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers, Recruitment Partners and Strategic Sourcing Recruiters which can help form their talent strategy across Strategic Sourcing.

Knowledge & skills required

  • Proven experience in using external research tools and internal data to build a compelling argument for client presentation.
  • Experience in developing long term, mutually beneficial business relationships to senior level
  • A methodical, organised approach to developing market maps and an eye for maintaining updates on key details and changes in data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into readable formats via spreadsheets, databases etc
  • The ability to present findings to senior managers internal and external
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a busy team and maintain focus when working to tight timescales
  • Must be able to produce factually correct, accurate BI delivered in a professional client centric format
