Content and Marketing Manager

The Team

As part of the ManpowerGroup Marketing team, you will work wit the head of content and social to develop, implement and manage strategic integrated content marketing plans.

The Role

So, what will you be doing?

  • Devise and manage tactical marketing campaigns across a range of channels focused on customer acquisition, retention and development, to generate client leads and inbound calls, or candidate applications and engagement
  • Develop and write high quality action-oriented thought leadership pieces, blogs, articles and other content
  • Devise and manage the creation of multimedia content including video, infographics, GIFs, etc. in conjunction with internal and/or external providers
  • Implement our brand social media content plans
  • Distribute content through various marketing channels (website, email, social media, etc.)
  • Manage online advertising campaigns and promotional activity
  • Measure ROI on all marketing activities and take appropriate action to improve performance
  • Work with the global marketing team to manage visibility of global marketing campaigns in relation to UK activity
  • Liaise with marketing colleagues and, where appropriate, external providers on the design, production and distribution of marketing collateral
  • Support the development of the ManpowerGroup and sub-brand offerings across brand websites and digital marketing channels.

What are we looking for?

A role for an experienced and creative marketing professional, with excellent copywriting skills

  • Creative and commercially minded
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills. Proven ability of writing persuasive copy. Ability to interpret complex concepts into digestible and accessible messages.
  • Capable of adding strategic guidance
  • Proven stakeholder management experience
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Team player with ability to operate independently
  • Ability to form strong and effective working relationships with people at all levels across the organisation
  • Confident, resourceful and a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving and changing environment where challenge is the norm and issues are widely varied.

Essential skills:

  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills, including long-form copywriting
  • Experience of implementing integrated, strategic content marketing campaigns across multiple channels with evidence of success
  • Experience managing social media campaigns
  • Analytical skills - ability to interpret statistical data
  • Proven project and campaign management ability.

Desirable:

  • Experience with HubSpot, DotMailer or similar marketing automation platform
  • Use of social media advertising platforms (FB Ad Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.)
  • Some experience with creative design software and/or video editing.
