Job Purpose:
An Onboarding Team Leader will oversee and have responsibility for the day to day working of the Onboarding team. The position holder will work closely with the Onboarding Delivery Manager to ensure the team is working within agreed SLA's and KPI's.
Working with numerous stakeholders across the entire delivery team, the position holder will ensure the team is well placed to support all parts of the wider team with Onboarding queries.
Job Duties:
Manage, develop and mentor the team, managing monthly reviews, manage leave, performance related issues and organise and arrange team training
Ensure SLAs and KPIs are adhered to, identifying any potential issues and manage those risks.
Run the recruitment process when new transaction assistants are required on the team.
Gain high level knowledge of the process of all four main business areas to support specialists running day to day process.
Ensure the team uphold Manpower and JLR standards at all times.
Manage the day-to-day activities of the team.
Be accountable for the delivery of the team activities.
Act as senior escalation for queries from the client and the wider Recruitment Delivery Team
Support and drive continuous process improvement.
Champion diversity and inclusion on the team.
Support the delivery manager to delivery operational objectives
Stand in and act as backup for the delivery manager during times of absence and unavailability.

These can include liaising with, and supplier management of, third-party providers regarding contingent or permanent workforce, direct sourcing, Academy, referral and internal moves, selection and candidate management, or potentially a blend of allFacilitate or oversee the selection process, negotiate offers, and secure acceptance of offers, whether conducted by Talent Solutions CORE or through a supplierNetworking within the Defence industry building relationships with the customer and external marketplaceEnsure that there is a diverse talent pipeline for future hiring needs and future skills, engaging with our central recruitment function and insights team. Key responsibilitiesManage requisitions autonomously with full client contact, ensuring all candidates are processed through in line with contractual SLA/KPI's.Ensure the candidate applicant tracking system is updated in real-time and used effectively.Conduct Recruitment Briefing Calls with Hiring Managers to obtain accurate details of the role and requirements, engage Hiring Manager's in the recruitment process and build strong relationships.Manage applications and source external candidates through job boards.Ensure successful qualification of candidates to identify their suitability for the position and the business areas culture.Schedule interviews & provide interview support to candidates and manage the offer process.Take part in weekly update calls to ensure alignment of vacancy activity and future requirements.Work with the Team Leader to foresee & identify challenges early in the recruitment process.Work with the Team Leader to think about improvements to the process that would improve overall output.Ensure that best practice is adhered to at all times, updating the Applicant Tracking System in real-time, ensuring that reporting can be done accurately & effectively.Manage a work book of roles that clearly shows the status of each position, allowing both yourself & your Team Leader to plan & prioritise effectively.Effectively guide both the client stakeholders & candidates on what the process works, set expectations & ensure that best practice is adhered to at all times.Effectively manage time and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Timely communication with candidates and hiring managers contributes to an efficient recruitment process.Ensure that all verbal & written communications are clear - Follow up calls with emails, including intake call documents, screening documents & actions from update calls, so that all are clear on next steps. Experience, Knowledge & AttributesDemonstrable and proven track record as an Advisor or Recruiter within an RPO environment, hitting set & stretch targets, with a good knowledge of the RPO recruitment process.Experience of working on a large and complex account within a permanent recruitment environment, ideally having worked on a mixture of different positions, ideally high volume & blue collar.Confident working with candidates throughout the recruitment process, managing expectations & ensuring that they have a positive hiring experience.Desire to work with stakeholders, supporting them to navigate the recruitment process, managing challenging client/candidate situations.Demonstrable ability to build knowledge in a new sector, becoming an expert in your field - Understanding the client EVP & being able to represent the client as if you work for them directly.Ability to write comprehensive, detailed but succinct written communications, building effective relationships through correspondence.Good reasoning skills and ability to screen and review shortlists and make sound judgements on suitability.Ability to project professionalism and personality on the phone and face to face.
