Junior Market Intelligence Analyst

We're hiring a Junior Intelligence Analyst to deliver excellent insights, research and intelligence to elevate service levels in talent acquisition for a across leading clients (Energy, Automotive, Defence, Tech, etc).

Location: Remote UK with bi-monthly travel opportunity to London

  • Research-based degree or relevant experience in analytics/insights/data
  • Previous experience presenting to or managing stakeholders.
  • Data cleaning, analysis and reporting experience.
  • Experience managing conflicting deadlines/high priority projects.
  • Data scrutiny.
  • Knowledge of data validity, reliability and basic concepts of methodology, study design.
  • Ability to learn and obtain knowledge quickly.
  • Understanding of recruitment processes.
  • Power BI or Data Visualisation tools.
  • Experience with talent insight or intelligence software.
  • Ability to reify ideas into tangible actions and initiatives.
  • Out-of-the-box thinker with creative innovation and solutions.
  • Previous experience working with objective data (quantitative or qualitative, at any level).

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Project-based data analysis, retrieval, cleaning and reporting for talent pool data.
  • Investigate leads for competitor insights.
  • Support and back-up findings from experienced recruiters with valid data and tangible evidence.
  • Understanding complex information and translating into bite-sized insights and recommendations.
  • Researching market conditions for role-level as well as industry-level insights.
  • Be a point of contact for all intelligence on competitors, the market, role-specific experiences, and summarising recruiter findings.

Day-to-day:

  • Project-based work investigating challenges and barriers to recruitment, this might be a market intelligence report or research report which covers topics such as competitor benefits, salary benchmarking, talent pool insights, and proactive insights gathered from publicly available sources.
  • Meeting with recruitment delivery team and understanding areas that could lead to intelligence-led deliverables.
  • Jumping onto Intelligence team tasks around 20% of the time, these could be design tasks, research tasks, larger report additions, but largely will be in line with the above
  • If desirable, presenting to clients and stakeholders opportunities will arise.

Working with:

  • Reporting into the Intelligence Strategy Director and working in a team of Analysts, Reporters and Specialists to deliver excellent Insights and Intelligence across clients.
  • Working alongside the Recruitment teams to help provide tactical intelligence.

Required Experience.

  • Previous experience working with data or insights of any kind, or project-based support work.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • Ability to investigate information and problem solve.

Nice-to-have Experience.

  • Research-based degree or relevant experience in marketing analytics/insights or research/data/analytics.
  • Recruitment, Insights, or Marketing experience.
  • Experience presenting to or managing stakeholders with storytelling capabilities.
  • Data cleaning, analysis and reporting experience.
  • Experience managing conflicting deadlines/high priority projects.
  • Data scrutiny.
  • Ability to learn and obtain knowledge quickly.
  • Understanding of recruitment processes.
  • PowerBI or Data Visualisation tools.
