Role: Global Process Owner

Location: Remote

Reports to: Senior Director - Finance, Automation & ERP Lead

Purpose

ManpowerGroup is moving to an advanced global ERP system and standardised business processes that require an experienced Global Process Owner. In this role, the Global Process Owner (GPO) will be responsible to own an end-to-end process across functional, geographic, and business unit boundaries - enforcing ManpowerGroup's strategic transformation vision, serving as an agent of change, and driving process improvement across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align key stakeholders (internal customers, business unit leaders, management, etc.) on the direction of the global process.
  • Co-create a set of anchoring choices, design principles and performance metrics with key stakeholders. Continually reinforce these principles in discussions with key stakeholders to ensure organisational alignment.
  • Drive discussions to resolve differences and build momentum. Equally, close alignment with continuous improvement teams to help coordinate the implementation of transformation initiatives.
  • Facilitate and drive conversations with business partners, KLT Teams, Global IS and Finance
  • Co-create, review and sign-off any documentation related to their process areas (Key Design Decisions, Functional Design Documents, Configuration workbooks and changes)
  • Schedule required meetings in collaboration with track leads and business partners
  • Advocate individual behaviour changes, both inside and outside global business processes, in a way that facilitates the desired project outcomes.
  • Educate stakeholders on the efficacy of global business processes and the benefits of standardising policies.
  • Stimulate change behaviour by involving the community of users in process design and constantly communicate, engage, and empower them to be part of the solution. Changing individual behaviour is an effective way to achieve accelerated adoption.
  • Provides a vision for how the pieces of the process come together, where the integration points are, and how performance can be improved over time.
  • Each organisation has a unique culture based on their organisational history, management style and organisational design which impacts many components of the end-to-end process and can be insightful in how to design, implement and manage the end to end process.
  • Tweak and tailor the model over time. The approach is to move into action sooner with an 80% solution and adapt as you go versus waiting for the extra 20%.
  • Sphere of influence across multiple country Finance teams and proximity to our Corporate Finance Leadership Team
  • Strength of internal stakeholder networks required to achieve objectives

Success Measures

  • On time delivery of global design for respective process stream
  • Successful adoption of global business processes by local country Finance
  • Achieve change management measurement goals for respective process stream

Key Requirements

  • Relevant senior experience within a finance role
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/QBE)
  • Knowledge of Finance Business Processes
  • Experience as a process lead and solid expertise in technology
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Working effectively across organisational boundaries
  • Change agent skills
  • Strong understanding of the functioning of large organisations
  • Broad-based technology in multiple business applications and environments
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Proficiency in project management software tools
  • Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud ERP
  • Prior experience in multi-country ERP implementation
