The Lead Recruitment Business Partner will manage a team of RBP's and support them in delivery of the permanent recruitment solutions for one of our leading clients in the defence industry. The Team Leader role does not directly manage requisitions but is responsible for the delivery of the requisitions managed by the RBP's within their team.

Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Measuring the outputs of a team of RBP's to ensure delivery against our client's business goalsRegular meetings to set goals and measure achievement
  • Ensuring balanced workloads
  • Track activity and implement corrective action plans for roles losing traction
  • Ensure that PO's for placement fees are collected promptly across the Sector by RBP's, optimising billing process
  • Support the development of the team through formal reviews and coaching
  • Report team performance to the Programme Manager

Relationship Management & Strategic Direction

  • Develop relationships with senior stakeholders within the Sector and liaise regarding key matters in recruitment
  • Escalation point for recruitment issues for reporting business areas
  • Provide Sector level monthly reports and attend relevant Sector level HR/Resourcing/Business meetings
  • Give guidance to the HM both directly where required and the through your team on the optimum recruitment process, different routes to market and sourcing options and provide support around recruitment plans, market trends, forecasting and recruitment best practice
  • Manage specialist projects when required
  • Design, develop and deliver presentations to a range of audiences
  • Liaise with HR when required and ensure strong connections with HRD's and HRBP's

Process Management & Operational Effectiveness

  • Support the activities of RBP's act as first point of contact for operational queries
  • Provide guidance regarding corrective action plans and/or challenging aged roles
  • Provide updates and reports to the Programme Manager and Client Relationship Director relating to activity, progress, challenges and risks within the Sector
  • Full responsibility for all roles within your business area
  • Work closely with the delivery team to ensure all delivery SLAs are met
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure suitable materials are available
  • Work closely with Recruitment Coordinators to ensure all elements of the process are managed correctly
  • Full use of Success Factors to ensure all data is in the system and updated

Service Development

  • Support the RPO Programme Manager and Client Relationship Director in developing opportunities within the client's account
  • Travel when required
  • Flexibility to support on other areas of the account when required
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues on the MSP account to meet requirements
  • Cross sell other MPG products and services within the account
  • Raise the visibility of the Manpower Group and the RPO through regular hiring manager meetings
  • Complete project work as required - e.g. training sessions within the team, review recruitment processes, etc.
  • Support the delivery teams by providing access to Hiring Managers when required and providing relevant client information, overviews and forecast planning
  • Introduce Search Consultants, as required, to attend recruitment briefings

Person Specification

  • Demonstrable track record of senior account management within an RPO
  • Experience of working on a large and complex account within a permanent recruitment environment
  • Prior experience in an on-site environment is highly advantageous
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders and managing challenging client situations
  • Has acted as an advisor to junior members of a team
  • Able to liaise at a high level with clients and must have the following attributes: positivity, decisiveness, drive, resilience, flexibility and innovation
  • Good reasoning skills, able to screen and review shortlists, making sound judgments on suitability
  • Excellent presentations skills
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Ability to project professionalism in person and via other communication
  • Able to communicate with impact and confidence and have ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to network within large client sites and build structures
  • Empathy with clients' goals and objectives - proactive in delivering and developing ways of increasing the presence of MPG and clients' success
