The Role
We are looking for consultants to work in one of our most exciting and lucrative new divisions. From drivers and distributors, to supply chain managers and warehouse operatives - Driving and Logistics is the sector that keeps the country moving. According to the FTA, the logistics sector employs a total of 2.35 million people in the UK but has a driver shortage of over 50,000. This number is only set to increase - and there just aren't enough people coming into the industry!
As experts on recruiting for the Driving & Logistics industry we have launched a specialist train-to-fit solution to help tackle this shortage. We don't simply recruit drivers anymore - our industry-leading Manpower Driver Development Academy is equipping fresh talent with the necessary skills to get behind the wheel. Once a candidate has begun their training, Manpower will support them through the process offering industry specific advice and information on jobs, local pay rates, as well as guidance on entering the logistics industry.

We are looking for an experienced permanent recruitment consultant to come and join our newly formed, high performing team. We are looking for someone with experience in the permanent recruitment market but open to sector.
We are looking for Driver Academy consultants to join a growing team on a project with a bright future for 2020 and beyond. You will be working with a healthy database of candidates who pass the Driver Academy and will be responsible for building connections across the Newcastle region with companies seeking Driving & Logistics talent. You will open up opportunities for our newly graduated Drivers and help them take that exciting first leap into a new career and new industry. You will sell the USPs, cost-benefit and value proposition of taking on a trained-to-fit employee to your clients and established a continued relationship in which all parties can thrive and grow. You will maintain relationships with our existing clients, many of whom are global giants in the logistics industry, ensuring that they also benefit from the solution. You will also provide a consulting service to our newly-trained drivers in order to understand their motivations and match them to the right client.
You will have solid experience of using social media to conduct market research, interact with candidates and engage with prospective employers.
