Job Purpose
To support the Data Privacy Officer within a fast-paced environment with the provision of strategic advice, planning and compliance with all aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Data Protection Act 2018 and associated legislation and guidance.
To review contracts and clauses from a Data Privacy position and support projects, conduct audits, administer Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)/Asset Assessments, undertake Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and demonstrate compliance with the GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018 as necessary, ensuring safeguards are in place so that personal data held by ManpowerGroup is compliant with the Data Protection related legislation, protocols, guidance and standards.
To administer statutory subject rights requests and act as a point of escalation for the Data Privacy Adviser with complex requests. To deliver training/development and awareness for ManpowerGroup personnel in their data privacy obligations.
Accountabilities
Support the Data Privacy Officer to direct and lead ManpowerGroup UK/Ireland with the provision of strategic advice, planning, and compliance with all aspects of the GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, associated legislation and guidance
Support the Data Privacy Officer in representing the ManpowerGroup UK/Ireland with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and other relevant Regulatory Authorities , and act as a main point of contact for data subjects in all matters relating to the protection of their personal data, including information rights, breach notifications, complaints, investigations, confidentiality arrangements
Work with project leads to ensure data privacy compliance is addressed at the outset of new proposals, services and developments within the ManpowerGroup, involving the processing of personal data
Undertake Vendor Data Privacy Risk Assessments
Maintain and develop active and effective relationships with ManpowerGroup personnel including representing the company at relevant meetings, conferences, forums etc, to share best practice
Develop, maintain, and administer the OneTrust (Data Privacy) application (or similar product)
Support the business to undertake their Information Asset Owner's and Business Process Owner responsibilities and develop Asset Operating Rules, DPIAs, Audit processes and Risk Assessments
Conduct and maintain Information Asset Register, Records of Processing and Consent Management as required.
Conduct GDPR/Data Protection compliance training and introduce support and guidance materials across the Group
Conduct specific information compliance projects escalating issues of threat, risk and harm as appropriate to the Data Privacy Officer
Conduct reviews in response to Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or other Regulatory body Assessments, Data Breaches and to draft responses to the Regulator within the required time limits, escalating any significantly complex/contentious matters or areas of risk as necessary
Manage complaints and disputes from individuals on the handling of their information i.e. the accuracy and information held or the retention of information
Keep abreast of developments in relation to legal, regulatory, and best practice guidance on Audit and Compliance related matters, implement and communicate relevant updates
Support the Data Privacy Officer in making changes across the business to improve the management of information
