Role Overview: As a Principal Recruiter, you'll lead internal meetings, build strong candidate relationships, and drive recruitment excellence. CoRE is at the heart of Talent Solutions, offering exciting career development options. Join us to make an impact!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate capabilities across the full end-to-end recruitment life cycle.
  • Network within the Defence industry, fostering relationships with customers and the external marketplace.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality by managing all recruitment activity via our internal CRM system.
  • Attract and source candidates using search and match technology.
  • Consistently deliver quality CVs within service level agreements (SLAs), aiming for an efficiency ratio of 3:2:1.
  • Independently manage offer and onboarding processes, including handling complicated candidate objections.
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings, contributing to their success and providing debriefings afterward.
  • Mentor Trainee Recruiters and Recruiters.
  • Utilize an in-depth understanding of clients' business, culture, and key skills to identify roles in other areas.
  • Act as the Delivery Point of Contact (POC) for client/account teams, following up on CVs and interview feedback.
  • Challenge and educate clients based on market insights and conditions, especially regarding rejected candidates.
  • Stay informed about market trends, key movers, and projects to engage in high-level conversations with candidates and enhance market knowledge.
  • Share market information within your network via social media to drive inbound candidate engagement and networking opportunities.

Success Measures:

  • Confidence in headhunting.
  • Experience in client relationship building and stakeholder management.
  • Awareness of personal brand impact across the business.
  • Demonstrated success in engaging and placing passive candidates.
  • Proficiency in using sourcing tools.
  • Skill in attracting and placing candidates.
  • Experience working to targets, deadlines, and/or service agreements.
  • Background in RPO or internal talent acquisition teams.
  • Solutions experience (RPO, contingent workers, upskilling solutions).
  • Knowledge of the Defence industry.
  • Strong connections and relationships with the external market, candidates, and clients.
  • Understanding of Defence clearance requirements, talent pools, and candidate attraction and engagement models.
  • Excellent communication skills to build influential, long-lasting relationships.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to positively impact profitability.
  • Effective workload management and prioritisation.
