You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts across the full spectrum of our recruitment business and its subsidiaries, providing expert commercial legal support.What You'll Be DoingSupporting all business units with a focus on commercial and contractual mattersDrafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and transactions, assisting with commercial negotiationsProviding legal support for business activities including tenders and service contracts with various clientsOffering advice and support on ad hoc legal queries specific to the recruitment sectorKeeping the legal department and business informed of relevant commercial legal developments and legislationBuilding strong relationships with the business to understand their needs and proactively support themManaging litigation matters, including handling basic county court claimsOutsourcing contract law negotiation experience including TUPEHandling employment law issues as they ariseAdvising on GDPR compliance and negotiating IT contractsSupervising junior team members on an ad hoc basis when requiredAbout You:You have a minimum of 7 years' PQE, ideally gained in-houseYou possess a sound understanding of contract and commercial law best practicesExperience and knowledge of outsourcing, recruitment sector law, contract law, data protection, marketing, and IT lawProven litigation experienceFamiliarity with the Conduct of Employment Businesses and Employment Agencies Regulations 2003Strong drafting skills and the ability to provide clear, practical, solutions-based adviceExcellent decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesCapable of prioritising workload and meeting tight deadlinesConfident working both independently and as part of a teamExcellent client care and interpersonal skillsStrong time management and IT skillsWhy Join Us?This is a fantastic opportunity to take a senior legal role within a forward-thinking recruitment business, where your expertise will directly influence business success.
