IDAM Operations Manager

IDAM Operations Manager
Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid) - with up to 10% international travel

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IDAM Operations Manager to lead the operational delivery of Identity and Access Management (IDAM) services across our global footprint. This is a strategic role within our enterprise infrastructure transformation programme, supporting over 60 countries and $20+ billion in revenue.

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, governance, and security of IDAM systems, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with global standards. This role offers the opportunity to shape future-state IDAM processes and technologies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across IT, HR, and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor the IDAM operations team
  • Define and implement strategies for IDAM and recertification processes
  • Drive global convergence of IDAM processes and onboard new regions

Operations Management

  • Manage daily IDAM operations, including user provisioning and access control
  • Ensure system performance, availability, and timely processing of access requests

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with global regulations and internal policies
  • Conduct audits and assessments, and liaise with internal/external auditors
  • Develop and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as the single point of contact for stakeholders across IT, HR, audit, and country teams
  • Provide training and support on IDAM policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless integration and enhancements

Project Management

  • Lead IDAM-related projects from planning to execution
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery
  • Manage initiatives between Global Technology and People & Culture

Process Redesign & Automation

  • Redesign Active Directory and IDAM operations for efficiency and compliance
  • Implement automation strategies to reduce manual intervention
  • Establish governance standards for Global Identity Services

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 8-10 years' experience in technology within a global organisation
  • Strong technical background in IDAM and project/program management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to influence, lead change, and deliver complex programmes
  • Comfortable working across time zones and cultures
